In an era where people are posting hundreds of thousands of pictures of themselves in their underwear, there is a new generation of rappers that can actually take that idea and apply it to real life.
From the self-proclaimed “porn king” to the “sex symbol” to “a young hip hop artist with the balls to make a living in a world that seems to be filled with sex and drugs,” here’s our top five of the most interesting young rappers in the south.

Haim [HipHopDX] “We Are the World” is a debut rap album, which comes with a $5,000 bonus, but it’s also a very ambitious, if not overly ambitious, debut.
Its lyrics about sexual frustration, sex and the dangers of being alone in the real world have been echoed by many artists before and after Haim, and its impact on the music industry is still being felt.
Its success, however, will hinge on how well the album’s message of “let’s get fucked” resonates with the public.
Haezy is currently working on a new album, but he’s been touring behind his debut, so there’s no official word yet on whether or not this new album will be the one that’s able to take over the world.9.
Big Sean [RapFix] Sean Paul’s sophomore album, “The Sean Paul Project,” is a departure from his usual sound and lyrical style, but its the album that he is most closely tied to.
He’s an artist who is constantly looking to expand his fanbase and it’s no surprise that “The Project” will see some major changes in 2017.
In a recent interview with Billboard, the project’s producer, Yung Lean, revealed that the album is currently in the middle of a collaborative project with Lil Wayne and Big Sean, which will see the two artists collaborating on songs.
While we don’t know if or when the collaboration will happen, it’s certainly an intriguing development for the careers of two rappers who both are already on the cusp of a huge breakout year.10.
J.
Cole [Rapfix] Cole is known for his prolific output, but we’ve been waiting for a big, massive release to make his name, so far, with “In The Groove,” his third studio album.
Its a very cohesive, accessible, and catchy effort, and it should be a massive hit in 2017, if nothing else.
“The Real J.
Cole” is expected to arrive in late 2017, which would make for a perfect time for Cole to release his next album.11.
Lil Wayne [Rap-Up] It’s hard to find a new rap superstar with the clout of Lil Wayne, but his presence has definitely been felt.
This past year saw a number of rappers releasing their first solo albums and it is a huge boost for rappers who are currently in a state of transition and a need for some new creative input.
“A Different Place” is one of the biggest singles of the year, and the new single, “Don’t Take Me Home,” is an absolute blast.
There’s also the release of his upcoming album, Lil Wayne: The Chronic, which is expected sometime in early 2018.12.
A$AP Rocky [Rap Nation] The year 2017 saw a few major rappers dropping new music, but none of them quite came close to Rocky.
His debut album, The Chronic is a fantastic compilation of hip hop classics and he has continued to work on his craft over the past few years.
Rocky’s music has been lauded by critics and fans alike, and his new album is due to be released in 2018.13.
Kanye West [Rap Genius] Kanye West’s “Black Skinhead” is still one of his best records, but the album was one of a few that he felt needed to get a little more attention.
The project was originally conceived as a collaboration with Lil Pump, but Kanye wanted to do a full-length album, and Lil Pump turned it down.
Kanye then took a stab at writing a song himself, but in the end, he ended up writing the music himself.
“It’s a great project, and I’m so proud of the songs I’m writing on the album,” West told Billboard.14.
Ty Dolla $ign [RapCrazy] Ty Dollas debut album is a great effort from a talented artist, but some fans aren’t convinced.
“Donuts” is arguably the best song on the LP and its been praised by many, but fans still aren’t impressed by the project.
The album is set to drop in 2017 and there’s a good chance it will be released alongside “The Game” which is due out this year.15.
Jay Z [RapWarrior] Jay Z’s first major album, Roc Nation, is a compilation of the best of his greatest hits.
He is one half of the Roc
